The questions Congressman Andy Ogles has not answered. Let me count the ways!
That could lead into any number of directions — especially given all the scandals that I’ve uncovered in recent years involving a man who may be Tennessee’s most diehard MAGA congressman.
Specifically, in this case, I’m talking about my latest investigation for Nashville’s NewsChannel 5 into the group that gave Andy Ogles an A+ “remigration score.”
As you will see in the video above — and here in the story published at NewsChannel5.com — I discovered that the so-called Providence Society is linked to a pro-Nazi X account, @Am_Septembrist.
Prior to publishing the story on Monday, I submitted a series of questions to his press office, which acknowledged receiving them.
Here are those questions, which I believed legitimately deserved to be answered:
What did Congressman Ogles know about the Providence Society before reposting their “remigration score”? Does he know the person behind the Providence Society account on X? If so, what does he understand to be the person’s name? Has he ever met that person? Did he meet this person at the New York Young Republican Club gala?
Remigration is a term originally developed by European neo-Nazis as a euphemism for ethnic cleansing. Is that a concept that Congressman Ogles supports?
Does Congressman Ogles consider himself a white Christian nationalist?
What does Congressman Ogles think it says about his views that he gets the support of a Nazi sympathizer with such extreme views?
More than 24 hours later, Ogles’ office has not answered a single one of those questions.
What do you think?
